The Canon FAX L series covers compact fax machines such as the FAX L140, FAX L200, FAX L400 and FAX L2000. Each one needs black toner, and the options differ mainly in part number and page yield.

Choosing between compatible and remanufactured
The compatible toner is made new to replace the Canon 104. The remanufactured toner replaces the 7833A001, FX-3 and FX-7. Compatible and remanufactured cartridges cost less than new name-brand cartridges, so they suit offices that send and print faxes every day. If you plan to print many pages between changes, a higher page yield means fewer swaps.
